Our team seeks a dynamic and innovative Marketing & Communications Manager to elevate our brand’s presence, engage target audiences, and drive business growth. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute meaningfully to Nusano’s life sciences product vertical, collaborate across departments, develop strategic initiatives, and leave a meaningful mark on our company’s success. The Marketing & Communications Manager role is both strategic and tactical, requiring a self-starter who thrives in fast-paced environments; possesses top-notch writing and creative skills; moves easily between big-picture thinking and hands-on execution; and is energized by taking lead on big projects.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do:

  • Sales Collateral: Create and maintain a library of product fact sheets, one-pagers and marketing collateral to support the needs of the Nusano Sales team.
  • Digital Content & Social Media: Generate high-quality, lead-generating content, such as web pages, blogs, digital webinars, social media, email newsletters, and white papers.
  • Events & Tradeshows: Support events and tradeshows, ensuring Nusano branding and collateral are aligned with audiences of each event and serve to advance customer relationships and sales lead generation.
  • Market Research & Analysis: Conduct research to identify emerging market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities. Use insights to inform strategy and life sciences campaign optimization. Corporate & Internal Communications.
  • Community Relations: Serve as a public face of the company and a primary point of contact for organizations throughout Utah. Work cross-functionally with the Nusano People & Culture team to ensure community engagements align with corporate priorities, such as recruiting and employee engagement.
  • Media Relations: Conduct proactive and reactive media relations to raise the visibility of the company, protect its corporate reputation, and advance thought leadership.
  • Executive Communications: Develop executive messaging for internal and external communications, including company announcements, newsletters, and stakeholder updates. Prepare executive briefing documents, backgrounders, and Q&A materials tailored to audience and occasion.
  • Branding: Align activities to ensure brand consistency and effective messaging across all Nusano platforms.
  • Internal Communications: Create content and post regular updates on Nusano’s intranet (“The Source”). Work with internal teams to conduct special events and meetings, including the company’s bimonthly “All-Hands Meeting.”

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Journalism or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2+ years of experience in marketing, advertising, corporate communications, or a related industry.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Understanding of brand development and go-to-market strategies.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Proficiency with content management systems (CMS) and email marketing platforms, specifically WordPress and HubSpot.
  • Experience with digital marketing platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager) and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
  • Graphic design knowledge and experience (Adobe Creative Suite or similar tools).
  • Familiarity with consumer-grade video production and editing (iMovie, Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere, etc.)
  • Prior experience in radiopharmaceuticals, healthcare or biotech, a plus.

Physical Requirements:

  • This role is based at Nusano’s headquarters in West Valley City, Utah.
  • Must be able to sit for long periods of time. Frequent use of a computer with repetitive use of keyboard, mouse, and manual dexterity.
  • Some travel (estimated 10–25%) may be required for company events, tradeshows, and offsite strategic planning.
