Position Summary:

Nusano in Valencia, CA is searching for a full-time Panel Technician to join our team within the Control System and Electronics Engineering group. This person will report directly to the Controls Electrical Engineering manager and assist in the production of Instrument Control Panels. Attention to detail, the ability to interpret drawings, and a focus on safety are key to success in this role. 

What You'll Do:

• Building industrial control panels.
• Ability to read schematics and diagrams for the installation of parts, wire, and components.
• Test and troubleshoot with a meter for accuracy.
• Knowledgeable of UL 508A standards and practices.
• Knowledgeable of wire types and sizes.
• Familiarity with the National Electric Code (NEC).
• Familiarity with Electrical fundamentals.
• Possess knowledge of basic hand tools and the ability to use and care for them.
• Other duties or locations as assigned by the Manager.

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience working in a UL508A panel shop.

• Have successfully shipped an industrial panel before with tight timelines.

• Can interpret an electrical schematic and wiring diagram.
• Must be willing to work overtime and/or weekends when needed.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to route wires neatly.
• Proficient in basic math (algebra).
• Proficient in all types of measuring tools as required.
• Proficient in using computers to obtain and document information.

Preferred Requirements:

• Strong reading comprehension, attention to detail, and organized.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to be punctual and dependable.
• Ability to meet deadlines.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift 25lbs to 50lbs.
• Being comfortable working in a warehouse setting.
