Position Summary:

 

Nusano is a privately held physics company committed to bringing supply stability and innovation to the rapidly emerging and critically undersupplied medical radioisotopes market, and to serving industrial and commercial markets dependent on reliable access to high quality radioisotopes and advanced separation techniques for their products and services.

 

As a Sales Representative at Nusano, you will focus on driving sales of our radioisotopes for aerospace and defense applications. You will leverage your existing network and deep understanding of these markets to identify and secure new business opportunities, nurture strong customer relationships, and contribute to the company's market expansion. Your expertise will be critical in promoting Nusano’s solutions which include stable isotopes, radioisotopes and separation processes utilized for enrichment and production.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do:

  • Sales Development and Execution:
    • Drive sales efforts by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within the aerospace and defense industries that utilize any of these technologies.
    • Learn and execute the gates of the Nusano sales cycle.
    • Achieve and surpass quarterly sales targets.

  • Customer Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, focusing on understanding their specific needs, challenges, and product applications.
    • Engage with key stakeholders and decision-makers to foster long-term partnerships in the aerospace and defense industry.

  • Market Analysis and Business Insights:
    • Stay up-to-date on market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments in these markets to identify growth opportunities.

  • Own Account Relationship:
    • Collaborate with marketing to develop materials and strategies that support customer engagement and product education in your sector.
    • Ensure customer problems are solved throughout the sales cycle by opportunistically engaging cross functionally.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Chemistry, Physics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 4+ years in sales, with a strong track record of selling into the aerospace industry.
  • Deep understanding of the aerospace industry, with established relationships at leading aerospace manufacturers and defense contractors who may utilize our products or technologies.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a customer-focused approach.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally to meet with clients as needed.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Experience selling disruptive technology
  • Experience enabling key accounts penetrate new markets.

Physical Requirements:

  • 20% travel to Nusano offices, conferences, meetings with prospective customers.
