Position Summary:

 

This role is both strategic and tactical ideal for an individual who thrives in fast-paced environments, moves easily between big-picture thinking and hands-on execution, is not intimidated by ambiguity, and is excited about taking the lead on projects.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do:

 

  • Investor Relations | Legal Support: 
    • Assist with investor communications, fundraising materials, investor updates, and tracking investor engagement. 
    • Manage and maintain investor CRM systems and portals; ensure data is up-to-date and reports are accurate. 
    • Support due diligence processes and investor onboarding activities. 
    • Assist the Legal team with maintaining files post-transactions and creating deal summaries.
    • Assist with maintaining corporate records, cap table updates (if applicable), and due diligence data rooms. 
    • Build and maintain a Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) document for investors. 
    • Create and maintain profiles of current and prospective investors.
    • Represent Nusano at meetings, demonstrating an ability to pitch the company. 
  • Executive Support: 
    • Drive quarterly preparation for board meetings. Including: drafting slides, working with the executive team to ensure timely delivery of their slides, monitoring quality and consistency of sides.   
    • Develop  operational updates, all-hands presentations, and briefing documents 
    • Prepare research briefs, internal reports, and decision-making materials. 
    • Track the status of key initiatives, drive follow-up conversations, and maintain momentum on strategic projects.
    • Maintain centralized project trackers (especially for investor requests, grants, board meeting prep).  
  • Government Affairs & Grant Support: 
    • Partner with the Director of Government Affairs on grant writing and research to support clean energy and life sciences initiatives. 
    • Research new grant opportunities and monitor deadlines across federal, state, and local levels. 
    • Coordinate cross-functional input needed for complex grant proposals. 
    • Track and report on public policy trends that impact Nusano’s work. 
    • Prepare briefing packets for executives ahead of meetings with public officials or agency partners. 
    • Assist in the development of white papers, external presentations, and proposals for grants and strategic partnerships. 

 

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  •  2–4 years of relevant experience in roles such as operations, chief of staff, strategic initiatives, investor relations, or project management.
  • Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail, you will spot what others miss and take pride in clean, professional work.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills, you're equally comfortable drafting an investor update or prepping slides for the Board.
  • A bias for action, you’re a self-starter who can move ideas from concept to execution with minimal direction.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment where priorities shift quickly.
  • High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and discretion when working with sensitive materials.
  • Experience with CRM systems, investor portals, or capital markets tools is a plus.
  • Prior experience in grant writing or supporting government affairs is a plus. 

Physical Requirements:

  • This role is based at Nusano’s headquarters in Utah.
  • Must be able to sit for long periods of time. Frequent use of computer with repetitive use of keyboard, mouse and manual dexterity.
  • Some travel (estimated 10–20%) may be required for investor meetings, industry events, and offsite strategic planning.
