Reporting to the Supply Chain Director, the Warehouse Operations Manager will be responsible for the daily supervision of all warehousing activities, process improvement and implementation at multiple locations.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do:

  • Responsible for daily operations of 3 warehouse locations: 40,000 sqft in Valencia CA, 200,000 sqft in Salt Lake City UT, and TBD sqft Construction site UT.
  • Responsible for the new development, implementation, evaluation, and enforcement of strategic warehouse operation policies and procedures. 
  • Determine product handling and storage requirements to develop warehouse operations systems with EHS, Rad Safety, and Quality for multiple commodity groups.
  • Contribute to and enforce OSHA warehouse safety policies.
  • Manage fixed and current assets to achieve a 95% accuracy rate.
  • Regularly communicate with the procurement team regarding the efficient flow of goods and materials.
  • Responsible for working with procurement/quality departments to set up inventory, general receipt inspections, special quality inspections, transfers.
  • Attend procurement team meetings to update the status of receipts, location transfers, and any other details.
  • Responsible for the training and development of warehouse professionals.
  • Help facilitate the implementation of Nusano’s new ERP system by the end of Q1 2025.
  • Resolve material issues OSD&DWs (Overage, Shortage, Defective, Damaged, Wrong) at receipt inspection and communicate with purchasing, engineering, and inventory administrators to clear the receipt hold status.
  • Optimize the flow of goods, resources, services, and information to satisfy customer needs.
  • Oversee the collection, organization and filing of documentation found at receipt inspection such as safety documentation, maintenance manuals, drawings, etc.
  • Perform warehouse actions such as, but not limited to receipt/quality inspections, all material handling, adding and deleting bin locations, and prepare outgoing shipments.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Candidates must be in Utah or willing to re-locate.  
  • 3-6 years of supervisory/management experience in a warehouse role preferred.
  • Strong understanding of how the whole supply chain works and what role warehousing plays in that.
  • Strong process improvement and safety-first mindset.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational, and follow-up skills.
  • Ability to plan and prioritize work.
  • Great interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Comfortable working within a fast-paced and fast-growing team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite.
  • Availability to travel to warehouse locations multiple times a year.
  • Experience using ERP, EAM, WMS.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a supply chain related field.
  • Inventory, receipt management professional certifications.
  • Forklift certification.

Physical Requirements:

  • The ability to lift 25/50/80 pounds regularly.
  • The ability to climb ladders while carrying items.
  • The ability to wear personal protective gear correctly as needed.
  • The ability to respond quickly to sounds. Ex. Forklift noise or other personal.
