Position Summary:
Nusano seeks a Particle Accelerator Technologist to assist with the installation, operation, and maintenance of a first-generation, state of the art, high-power accelerator to produce radioisotopes for medical applications. Working with scientists, engineers, and technicians, the Particle Accelerator Technologist will execute work related to high vacuum, electromagnet, RF, process cooling, electronics, controls, mechanical, and cryogenic systems. This position requires a strong background in experimental laboratories performing similar work. This role will provide equipment and end-to-end system support and participate in various experiments throughout the project including final beam commissioning and participate in the lifecycle management of the system identifying equipment, system, and process improvements.
